Battle of the Bats – Saturday, September 19th at Central Park

Come and cheer on your SO Forsyth softball teams – The Golden Gloves, Loose Cannons & Mystic Batters at the 17th Battle of the Bats!

25 teams from GA will compete this year.

Opening Ceremony begins at 8:45 AM

We will not be holding our “All Sport Fundraising Raffle” this year. However, we are planning a “Game Day Raffle.” To donate a prize for the Game Day Raffle, please contact Dave and Val at DuValfcso@gmail.com or 770-596-4520.

We will be selling raffle tickets that morning (or before) – so come support your program! We will have Battle of the Bats T-shirts, car magnets, and more for sale! Look for the red & white hospitality tents.

New Pre-Ordered T-shirts Coming Soon!

If you pre-ordered a T-shirt, they will be arriving soon! We are trying to have them available at the Battle of the Bats for you to pick up.

2027 Winter Games Registration Coming Soon!

Registration for the 2027 Winter Games will open October 1, 2026. Sport options will include basketball, basketball skills, bowling and powerlifting. Put October 1 on your calendar. Then when the time comes, go to www.soforsyth.com to register for the 2027 Winter Games.

Fall Games Are Almost Here!

2026 SOGA Fall Games, Valdosta, GA – October 16-18, 2026

Almost 100 athletes, unified partners and coaches from Forsyth County Special Olympics will be participating in the sports: Bocce, Softball, Softball Skills, and 9-hole Golf.

*Golf Skills Competitive Play will be at Polo Golf and Country Club on October 14th at 6 PM.

Texas Hold’em Fundraiser

Hosted by 5th Street Poker, benefiting Special Olympics Forsyth

Come Join The Fun!

We’d love to have our athletes join the fun to welcome the poker players supporting the event.

When: Saturday, November 7th, 2026

Place: Stars and Strikes

Check In: 6 PM and cards fly at 7 PM sharp

Get Your Special Olympics Forsyth Monogrammed Swag and Gear!

Would you like to get your own golf shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, vest, towel, etc. monogrammed with the Special Olympics Forsyth County logo and/or your name or initials?

The Special Olympics Forsyth County logo will be monogrammed in branded colors, and the logo will be black on light colors and white on dark colors – unless otherwise requested.

How to get your items monogrammed:

• Fill out the Monogram Order Form
• Drop off: Tina Hillmer, Forsyth Therapeutic Program – Central Park
• Drop off time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (M-F or email Tina)
• Turn-around time: 7-10 days
