Congratulations to all the Athletes who competed this past weekend!
Many members of our Athletics team competed at the Greater Atlanta Christian School Invitational on April 24th, and the SOFO Powerlifting team hosted the 8th Annual Battle of the Barbells at Central Park on April 25th! Thank you Coaches and Volunteers!
2026 Special Olympics Georgia Summer Games: May 22-24, 2026
2026 Special Olympics USA Games
The Special Olympics USA Games are scheduled to take place from June 20-26, 2026, at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis MN.
On June 10th, the USA Torch Run will make its way to ATL as it is heading to Minneapolis! The “live run” will start at the Capital and end at the Coca Cola Headquarters in Atlanta. Athlete, Hector Rivera will be running a 2-mile leg of the race with the SO USA Games Representatives and meet-up with SOGA – Team GA at Coke Headquarters!

Now is the time to check your paperwork expiration date. Athlete participation forms are required annually. Go to www.soforsyth.com to verify you are up to date.

Would you like to get your own golf shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, vest, towel, etc… monogrammed with the Special Olympics Forsyth County logo and/or your name or initials?
